It is my honour and privilege to function as the Principal of St.Mary’s English Medium School. The purpose of this webpage is to provide parents, students, and our school community with easy access to information on our school programs, policies, and activities.

We create an environment where each child receives love, respect, and acceptance. The emphasis is to create a seamless blend between the modern and traditional approach which is beneficial for learners. We encourage children to learn by experimenting and exploring a wide range of extracurricular activities. This gives the students the best exposure and builds their confidence and make them ready for next stage of life.
We are focused to achieve our aim by providing the infrastructure to work upon a child’s physical, mental and artistic faculties.
Our task is to make it possible and our mission is to provide a platform for the same.

About Us
St.Mary’s English Medium School was established in 1981,when it was nearly impossible for the common man to get an English medium education for their kids. The only English Medium School then available was 15kms away, highly expensive and overcrowded.
So, the founders of the school, DR.C.I.Oommen (Rtd.prof.Catholicate college Pathanamthitta), and Mrs.Susy Oommen decided to start an English Medium school after a long discussion with their colleagues and friends supported by the people of konni to fullfil the dream of a common man to provide a good and affordable English Medium School. Hence the first English Medium School in konni came in to existence in 1981 with 20 students.
